I explore contemporary India through the lens of culture, aesthetics, and prevailing public discourse.

“ How does a nation of 1.4 billion people consume, gather, travel, rest, and imagine a meaningful life?”
My work brings cultural insight and editorial clarity to sustainable organisations, intentional brands, and global companies seeking to engage with contemporary India thoughtfully and meaningfully.
I work with governments, luxury brands, non-profits, and cultural organisations to help them understand changing behaviours, values, and aspirations in contemporary India, not as a traditional forecaster but as an interpreter immersed in the country’s contradictions.
I help brands build emotional value and a distinct point of view through deep research into mythology, design, and human insight.
Through writing and strategic communications, I help organisations understand emerging cultural shifts and changing ways of living, gathering, and consuming.
I bring together culture, identity, behaviour, and lived experience to shape the future and spark lasting conversations.
| Hotels & Tourism Boards Creating rooted narratives, sharper destination positioning, and more intentional approaches to travel. | Fashion, Jewellery & Beauty Shaping the mystique around material culture, seasonal rhythms, and changing ideas of luxury. | Real Estate, Spaces & Interiors Exploring how the spaces we inhabit influence the ways we live, gather, rest, and experience holistic wellbeing. |
| Arts & Crafts Working with craft traditions, artisan practices, heritage, and cultural memory to move beyond the archives into relevance. | Government & Public Institutions Building trust, situating culture, and championing social change through research and public-facing engagement. | Non-Profits & Social Enterprises Helping mission-led organisations build upon ideas of access, participation, and equity with clarity. |

I have built my practice through sustained study of Indian knowledge systems and contemporary culture. Beyond my formal education, my studies have taken me deeper into the relationship between people, place, and the natural world.
Over the past decade, I have studied Advaita Vedanta, alongside Ayurveda, Tantra, and Jyotisha under Dr. Robert Svoboda. My learning also includes a postgraduate certification in Indian Aesthetics and further study in Yoga & Tantra at Jnanapravaha, and a climate fellowship with Terra.do, along with an informal study of Sanskrit.

For over two decades, I have been exploring how India waxes and wanes through the lens of Indian knowledge systems, prevailing public discourse, and long-termism.
My work examines complexity, contradiction, emerging desires, and shifting ways of living through a long-range cultural lens
I have worked across editorial leadership, serving as the launch editor of FICCI’s India Traveller, the editor of LuxeBook, and the assistant editor at The Indian Express, bringing institutional editorial rigour to these publications. I’ve reported across more than 40 countries and, as an independent editor and photographer, have contributed to over 60 international publications, including Forbes, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveller, GQ, BBC Good Food, The Hindu, Lonely Planet, and Business Traveller.
This work has evolved into a long-standing practice of observing signals, tracking lifestyle transitions, and understanding how older systems of knowledge interact with modern life.
Alongside advisory work, I am the founder of the award-winning platform BeejLiving, India’s first journal dedicated to slow living, sustainability, and traditions, creating a 20,000-strong community across platforms.
A practice built across cultural insight, editorial leadership, strategic communication, and public discourse.
